PROJECTS : DE MAN ACHTER DE SPIEGEL
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
In 2015 writer Jan de Kort asked the Moodlab to create a cover for his new book: 'De man achter de spiegel'. ('The man behind the mirror') Based in the nineties, the book is about Burt, a journalist who -much to his dismay- is sent to Dachau by his editor to write a piece about Dutch survivors of the camp during WW2. When he meets a Jewish student, they infiltrate into an elderly home for Nazi's searching for looted art. His scoop is near. Although so it seems.. In fact: who in the book really is who they seem to be? 'Know thyself' could be described as the theme of this book. This is why for the cover, the Moodlab photographed 4 newborn babies with their dad/model as a soldier. For the book the Moodlab created: - a photo for the cover - short video's for promotion purposes - a website - behind the scenes footage The book went on market at the end of April 2015, commemorating WW2 www.demanachterdespiegel.nl |
